4 Feb 06 - Cutting Holes for the Radio

The goal that we're gradually meandering towards is to be able to slap the radio stack in here for good, so we can start wiring. Today is just one of the many subprojects that has to be done before that can happen.

Looks like this all lines up correctly. Good.
It's not such a bad idea to put some sort of reinforcement where you've cut a hole in this, especially if you're cutting lots of holes in here. We're not, but it's still not a bad idea.
There it is all together, after a little filing and finishing work. Ready to rivet as soon as it gets a bit of primer squirted on it.
